The Three Angels' Messages (Revelation 14:6-12)
As taught in the Seventh-day Adventist tradition
The Adventist meta-mission — fear God, the hour of judgment is come; Babylon is fallen; do not receive the mark.
The Seventh-day Adventist tradition teaches that the Three Angels' Messages of Revelation 14:6–12 constitute the final warning of mercy to humanity before the second advent of Jesus Christ. According to The Great Controversy, these messages are not a call to establish a new sect, but a divine movement designed to awaken the world to the realities of the impending judgment and to prepare a people to stand in the day of God. The messages are inseparable; they rise in successive order but continue together as one threefold message to the close of time.
