Safeguarding
Last updated: 10 May 2026.
Our commitments
- Children mode is guardian-controlled. The product is not marketed to children.
- The kids tutor and story pipeline blocks adult pastoral counselling posture, frightening or graphic imagery, and licensed lyric or text leakage.
- Voice recordings of children are not stored.
- Group conversations are subject to a moderation deny-list. Block phrases (abuse, self-harm, suicide) are rejected at ingest. Hold phrases route to a moderator queue and are not broadcast to the group until reviewed.
- Messages flagged for moderation are reviewed by trained staff under the charity's safeguarding policy.
What guardians control
- Whether children mode is enabled.
- Which child profiles exist and what age band each is set to.
- Which stories are available.
- When to remove a child profile (deletion is honoured immediately and removes associated content).
Vulnerable adults and recovery support
We acknowledge that some users come to the platform from gaming-disorder recovery contexts, mental-health pressure, or bereavement. The AI tutor is a study tool, not a counsellor or clinician. If a question signals risk to life or safety, the product should encourage the user to contact emergency services or an appropriate UK helpline. Assisted-access requests via the charity are handled discreetly.
Reporting a concern
If you have seen content or behaviour on Bible Studio AI that you believe puts a child or vulnerable adult at risk, please contact us as soon as possible:
- Email: info@mindfulgaminguk.org with subject "Safeguarding".
- If the concern relates to immediate danger, contact UK emergency services on 999 first, then us.
- For non-emergency concerns about a child you do not know personally, you can also contact the NSPCC (UK) helpline on 0808 800 5000 or via nspcc.org.uk.
What happens after a report
- The report is logged and acknowledged within 2 working days.
- The relevant content is reviewed; severe content is removed immediately and accounts are suspended pending investigation.
- Where required by law or by the charity's safeguarding policy, the matter is escalated to the relevant authority.
- Reporters are kept informed of next steps where it is appropriate to do so.
